This was a great thing to write about! One of the wonderful things about technology is that it brings us a world of things to learn and ways to improve our lives. People don't need to be afraid of it. One of the good things that came out of the pandemic is that many people were forced to learn at least some technology in order to connect with others.
But for creatives, AI is a nightmare. It has been trained and is learning using work by artists who were not asked nor compensated, and now is able to create work in the style of those same artists. What happens when someone wants a special wedding song in the romantic piano style of David Lanz? Will they pay David to perform or write it, or just give AI a couple of prompts to pop out something similar for free?
With AI, the only winners are the tech bros (once again). All the rest of us are slowly becoming irrelevant.
